Robert "Rob" LaRocca

Robert “Rob” P. LaRocca, age 55, of Elkhart passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Rob was born to Robert P. and Sally LaRocca on December 12, 1966 in Livonia, MI. Rob married his wife, Cheryl on January 28, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rob graduated from Elkhart Central High School, where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. He was the owner and sales person for Sierra Solid Surfaces in Elkhart. Rob enjoyed playing golf and his favorite time was spent with family and friends.

Rob is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his adored daughter, Maria T. LaRocca of Mishawaka; his loving mom, Sally LaRocca of Elkhart and her devoted companion Richard Babler of Edwardsburg, MI; his brother Rick LaRocca of Winter Park, CO. and his very special Aunt Terry of Poinciana, FL. Rob is preceded in death by his father, Robert P. LaRocca.

A funeral mass will take place at 11am Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1108 South Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46516 where visitation will be one hour before mass at the church. Rob will be laid to rest next to his father at Rice Cemetery. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the LaRocca family.
