Robert Jeffrey Walker

Robert Jeffrey Walker, age 54, of Syracuse, IN received his angel’s wings on June 16, 2022. He passed at Angela Hospice House in Livonia, MI. Robert was born on February 1, 1968 to Bruce Adams and Sandra Walker in Elkhart.

Robert graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in broadcasting. He worked for Better Way Products in New Paris as a forklift driver in the receiving department. He was an artist, foodie and loved nostalgia including anything from Star Wars. He had a large collection of old movies, comic books and music albums. Robert loved to spend time with his family and ballroom dancing friends.

Robert is survived by his mom, Sandra Walker of Elkhart; his siblings Sally (Jeff) Boyer of Bristol, Tamra (Nick) Porras of Crown Point, IN., Mark Walker of Elkhart, Randall Walker of Ft. Wayne, IN and Sean (Amie) Henrichs of Lapeer, MI; nieces Olivia (Jake) Swinehart and Madelyn (Caleb Platz) Boyer; nephew Brandon Porras; great-nephew Finley and great-niece Mia. Robert was preceded in death by his dad, Bruce Adams Walker.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN  46514 where the rosary will be prayed at 4pm. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11am  at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 411 West Vistula Street, Bristol, IN 46507 with visitation one hour before mass at the church. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol, IN., where he will be laid next to his dad.
