Ronald R. Greske

Ronald(“Ron”) Robert Greske, 68, resident of Mishawaka, IN, formerly of Westmont, IL passed away on Thursday February 25th, 2021 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL.

Born in Chicago, IL on January 3rd, 1953 to Robert and Gertrude Greske, Ron is survived by his wife, Tiffany Schlichter, of 16 years; his two sons: Brian (Shannon) Greske of Bolingbrook, IL and Steven; his grandson, Addison Greske of Bolingbrook, IL; his two step-sons: Jay and Chase Eggeman of Mishawaka, IN, his sister, Diane (Tom) Turek of Bridgeview, IL; and his brother Tom (Jan) Greske of Bolingbrook, IL.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Gertrude Greske, and his sister, Barbara Demas.

Ron graduated from Bogan High School - Chicago, IL and went on to earn his Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Western Illinois University - Macomb, IL. Ron was a devoted husband and father. He will be remembered as an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan with a passion for coaching his son’s sports teams. Ron was recently a national account manager for Gel Spice Co./Olde Thompson and a parishioner of St.Therese Little Flower Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm(EST) on Thursday March 4th, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home 1531 Cobblestone Blvd.  Elkhart, IN 46514.  A funeral mass* will be officiated by Fr. Terry Coonan at 12:00 pm(EST) on Friday March 5th, 2021 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church 54191 N. Ironwood Rd. South Bend, IN 46635.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park - Granger, IN
