Sharon K. (Raeder) Kaiser

Sharon Kay Kaiser, 68 of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1953 in Elkhart to Bob and Josephine (Miller) Raeder. She married Richard M. Kaiser on Dec. 18, 1976 in Elkhart. She is survived by her husband, Richard Kaiser, a daughter Laurie Kaiser of Elkhart, a son, Michael (Amy) Kaiser of Bristol, 3 grandchildren, Julia, Ava and Jacob; 3 brothers, Richard (Dawn) Raeder and David Raeder both of Elkhart and Mike (Carla) Raeder of Goshen, and a sister, Susan Burnworth of Edwardsburg, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon was very hard working. She retired as a line worker. She enjoyed working in the yard and planting flowers, thrift shopping, and taking care of her family. She loved music and was a great cook and baker. She made the best pumpkin pies. She spent most of her life living at Simonton Lake. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Visitation for Sharon will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, August 17th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart, IN 46514, where funeral services will begin at 7 pm. Reverend Keith McFarren will officiate.
