Timothy George Wise

Timothy G. Wise, age 80 of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by his family.  Tim was born April 17, 1941 to George and Laura (Ravenscroft) Wise in Elkhart. He married Sharon Dunithan on May 28, 1961 in Elkhart, she preceded him in death on March 18, 2016.

 Tim is survived by his son, Alan (Patty) Wise of Goshen and a daughter, Alicia Wise of Auburn, IN; grandchildren Talan Fielder, Alanna (Jeremy) Troyer, Maria (Josh) Klug, Crystal (Ray) Wielgos and Brittany (Patrick) Coe, and 13 great-grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ron Wise.

Tim retired in 2003 from Vincent Bach where he worked as a tool and die maker. He and Sharon created Wise Collectibles where, for many years, they sold die cast toys at various toy shows in the U.S. He enjoyed going to auctions and antique shows searching for treasures. He loved watching cowboy shows and kept his mind active by completing dot-to-dots. A tinkerer at heart, he spent many hours building wooden puzzles and Lego kits for adults.

Visitation for Tim will be from 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where services will begin at 1 pm. Internment will follow at Rice Cemetery next to his wife.
