Tomasa Hernandez

Tomasa Hernandez, age 57, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday August 4, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. Tomasa was born on September 22, 1962 in Mexico City, Mexico to Donaciano Hernandez Torres and Celia Tafoya Barron. On September 12, 1981 in Mexico she married Roberto Corona.

Tomasa was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was employed at KIK in Elkhart. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Tomasa is survived by her husband, Roberto; her children, Cesar (Elizabeth) Hernandez of Middlebury, Edgar Hernandez of Goshen, Eduardo (Antonia Castillo) Hernandez of Goshen; her grandchildren, Cesar, Aislynn, Melanie and Adilynn; her sisters., Martha (Arturo Sanchez) Hernandez of Mexico, Ana Rosa (Epigmenio Ojeda) Hernandez of Mexico; her brothers, Sergio (Maria Dolores Manrique) Hernandez of Mexico, Gustavo (Patricia Meza) Hernandez of Mexico and Guillermo (Veronica Zamora) Hernandez of Mexico.

Friends may visit with her family from 12pm -8 pm on Friday, August 7, 2020 where the Rosary will be prayed at 6pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514. Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 am on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 109 West Monroe Street, Goshen, IN 46526 where friends may visit one hour before mass.
