Valerie K. Seal

Valerie K Seal, age 46, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on March 28, 2022, at the

University of Chicago Hospital. She was born on January 19, 1976, to David and Lori (Seal)

Dunn. She is a mother to Breanna Seal, Kayla Seal, Madison Seal, and Leia Seal. A sister to

Natasha Seal. And an aunt to Kaydence Seal, Omari Seal, and Azaya Seal. She was preceded in

death by her brother Cpl. Aaron Seal.

Valerie had a gift of making all walks of life feel welcome. She would walk into a room,

strike up a conversation and make friends with anyone. Her love and devotion for her children

included a deep bond that will never be broken. She cherished the moments when her family was

together. That’s when she was the happiest, especially during the holidays. Her fun-loving nature

shined in all that she did; whether that be time with family, fishing, riding her motorcycle with

her father or simply living. She would wake up every day in a good mood, singing a song and

ready to tackle anything that came her way.

If Valerie was anything, though, she was a fighter. Through raising four children. To her

fight with cancer. She never backed down. She created Beast Mode and embodied the definition.

If anyone had the privilege to be one of her special people you knew how much she loved

you. She had a way of showing love that left a mark and will be deeply missed. Valerie was a

one-of-a-kind person that this world doesn’t see often. Her strength will forever carry on. We all

are honored to have her now as one of our beautiful Angels.

A celebration of life service for Valerie will be on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Stemm-

Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where friends and
