Violet Rosanna Bailey, age 80, of South Bend passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at West Bend Nursing Home in South Bend. Violet was born on March 8, 1940 in Mishawaka, Indiana to John and Claudia Sally Frederick.

Violet was a loving mother, grandmother and a room mother for her sons, she loved her family. She enjoyed doing crafts and art projects. In her younger years she worked as a bank teller, a clerk at Uniroyal and Shoppers Fair.

Violet is survived by her son, Michael (Amy) Bailey of Mishawaka, her grandchildren, Justin Bailey, Brittani (Roger) Smith, Brandee DeCloedt and Chaley (Justin) Whittaker and her great-grandchildren, Dominick, Darrien, Gunner, Darrick, Kambree, Dawson, Emelius and Ryker. Violet was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery A. Bailey, her parents, and her siblings, Sara Pauley, Mary Kaufman, Junior Frederick and Loyal Frederick.
